Terms & Conditions

Definitions

The client refers to any person, company, or corporation hiring equipment from Props & Roses. 

Equipment refers to all props, wedding items, flower walls, and accessories associated. 

The term 'we' refers to the company Props & Roses. 

Bookings and Deposits

You will first need to fill in an online booking form found under the 'Bookings' section. The more information you provide, the easier and faster it is to process your order. Upon confirmation of your booking details, we will issue an invoice to your nominated email address. The invoice will detail the booking deposit, total hire amount and bond. 

To secure your booking, you will need to pay a 50% booking deposit of the total hire amount or $50, whichever is higher. The remaining hire amount and bond are to be paid 7 days before pick up/delivery or as agreed by Props & Roses, failure of which may result in a forfeiture of your booking. Please note that any deposits made are non-refundable.

Bond and Damages

The bond is an additional security payment collected to ensure our hired items are fully returned and undamaged (undamaged being defined as a similar condition to its pre-hired state). The bond amount will be reflected in your booking invoice. It is 50% of the total hire amount or $50, whichever is higher. Once items are returned in a similar condition to its pre-hired state, the bond will be refunded to your nominated bank account (or cash if you prefer). If items are returned damaged (or in a condition not suitable for future hire), this will result in forfeiture of the bond. However, this may also depend on the degree of damage, with mild damages resulting in a smaller forfeit (at the discretion of Props & Roses). 

Payment

We only accept payment via bank transfer at this point in time. Our nominated bank account details will be provided in the invoice. Any payment made constitutes a full understanding and acceptance by the client of the Terms & Conditions.

Hire Period

The hiring period for each item varies. In general, it is 24 hours for backdrops/plinths and 6 hours for flower walls. Please indicate on your booking request if you would like to hire the items for a longer duration, additional charges will apply. 

Refund and Cancellation

We do not provide refunds for cancellations. Instead, you will receive store credit to be used for your next booking (no expiry date).  

Delivery, Set up and Returns 

Flower walls, luxe backdrops & floral packages will be delivered and set up at your venue (additional delivery fee applies outside ACT and Queanbeyan). By default, all other hire items are to be picked up and returned to Props & Roses. However, you may indicate on your booking if you would like items delivered (additional fee applies). 

Liability

The client and their guests should only use the equipment provided by us for their intended use. Props & Roses shall not be held liable for any misuse of equipment provided. Furthermore, Props & Roses are hereby indemnified of any third party claims, action, suits and expenses for damage, injury, death, loss of income or damage caused to the client or its property, directly or indirectly, through the use of Props & Roses' equipment.
